Participants will examine group dynamics and how that relates to reaching a true consensus. They will identify clear decision rules and sustainable closure. The second half of the training will focus on real-life agreements that we are currently looking to reach.
Participants will explore examples of crafting PD outcomes with interactive openers and closers that solidify the learning and ensure that the intended success criteria are met. Participants will also share their experience attending PD and crafting learning-driven agenda. Finally, we will explore feedback loops that go beyond a simple survey at the end.
Language Leaders will learn strategies for reaching true consensus on decisions. Based on the Work of Sam Kaner and decades of research. We will examine where collaboration can go wrong and examine group dynamics.
Participants will examine 3 principals of Andragogy and how they impact adult learning. Then explore 3 facilitator moves to enhance P.D. Then end with a crowd-sourced section where we troubleshoot real-world problems that presenters have experienced.
