Culturally Relevant Teaching and Language Acquisition

In Zaretta Hammond's book, Culturally Responsive Teaching and the Brain, the author links brain research to classrooms where students are racially and ethnically diverse. Since language acquisition is a very different process from learning math or science, we have interpreted her framework in the world language context.
